Associate Creative Director Art

London - Battersea Power Station / Hybrid 

As the Associate Creative Director Art for SharkNinja, you will be responsible for leading projects and inspiring a diverse team of creatives across EMEA to develop innovative and effective marketing campaigns, branding strategies, and design concepts that align with the company's Outrageously Extraordinary mindset and resonate with the target audience on a global scale.

This role will focus specifically on advertising conceptual creative with a hands on attitude – with EMEA execution top of mind to develop deep understanding of the consumer in EMEA and across all major categories – enabling us to tap into culture trends, cultural insights, and will require a social-first bias.  This role will closely partner with our Operations, Production and Social creative within the creative team to define campaigns and content. 

Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll do:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and communicate a clear creative vision and strategy that supports the company's overall goals and brand identity.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to understand business objectives, market trends, and customer insights to inform creative direction.

Team Management:

  • Mentor, and motivate a team of creatives, including art directors, designers, copywriters, and other specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Provide guidance and constructive feedback to help team members grow and develop their skills.

Campaign Development:

  • Oversee the conceptualization, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring they are on-brand, impactful, and meet quality standards.
  • Champion creative excellence by pushing boundaries, exploring new ideas, and experimenting with emerging technologies and trends.

Brand Identity and Design:

  • Ensure consistency and integrity of the brand across all touchpoints, including advertising, packaging, digital platforms, and physical spaces.
  • Lead the development of visual identities, design systems, and brand guidelines that effectively communicate the brand's values and personality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, sales, and external agencies, to align creative efforts with overall business strategies.
  • Serve as a key liaison between creative, strategic, and operational functions, facilitating communication and fostering a unified approach.

Quality Assurance and Performance Tracking:

  • Establish processes and standards for evaluating creative work, ensuring it meets objectives, adheres to brand guidelines, and resonates with the target audience.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of creative initiatives, using data and insights to optimize future campaigns and drive continuous improvement.

Some of the skills and experience you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in advertising, marketing, design, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years in creative roles and 5+ years in leadership) within the advertising industry, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and driving business results.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work, including campaigns, branding projects, and design solutions across various channels and platforms.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and emerging technologies, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, able to balance creative vision with business objectives and operational realities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms, such as Adobe Creative Suite, project management systems, and analytics tools.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support global operations and collaborate with regional teams.
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones and cultural contexts, facilitating effective communication and collaboration in a global environment.
