As a key part of the team, you will support clients by helping to develop and deploy impactful and considered communication strategies to build, protect and enhance corporate reputation. You will join Teneo Ireland’s team of almost 100 colleagues and a global team of more than 2,000 people around the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to clients, working closely with other members of the Teneo team.
  • Assist in the development, execution, and measurement of communications solutions, plans and campaigns for clients to enhance corporate reputation.
  • Apply the highest standards of excellence to deliver consistent and positive results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Teneo clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of your clients and their respective sectors.
  • Keep informed of key business and political developments in Ireland and internationally.
  • Keep informed regarding changes in the media and political landscape and build strong media and stakeholder connections.
  • Assist in crafting written communications material for clients to an excellent standard.
  • Stay up to date on communications and industry trends, sharing insights with the team to inform strategies.
  • Oversee and deliver high quality reporting to demonstrate the value and impact of results for clients.
  • Be a professional, reliable, and values driven ambassador for Teneo in all ways.
  • Contribute to new business development and pitches.
  • Support the effective management of client projects with confidence and thoroughness.
  • Be a proactive, supportive, and encouraging role model by being ambitious to achieve the best for your colleagues, your clients and yourself.
  • Be proactive and curious about learning best practice, seeking to understand the thinking behind recommendations, and sharing your own insights and knowledge.

Requirements


  • A minimum of one years’ experience working in a corporate communications role in a consultancy setting.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of client reporting, budgets and timesheets/time reporting.
  • Experience working with media and a strong understanding of media dynamics. Experience with media in Ireland is required.
  • Experience planning and executing media campaigns, including activities such as media release writing and distribution, photocalls, media pitching, coverage monitoring, and campaign analysis.
  • Ability to manage client relationships, anticipating needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • A positive, flexible and ambitious team player who is proactive and keen to learn.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to quickly become a subject matter expert in clients’ sectors, driving informed and strategic advice.
  • Desire to produce the highest quality materials and deliver excellence for clients.
