Job description:

The Associate Community Manager will assist in the creation and implementation of Community Development and Management strategies for our global gaming clientele. The Community Manager at ZAM will manage and grow PUBG MOBILE’s presence in Germany. You’ll be responsible for local content execution, community engagement, and helping bring culturally relevant, on-brand ideas to life across social platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Scheduling & Publishing. Manage and publish local content across PUBG MOBILE’s French or German social channels. Ensure consistent cadence and alignment with the global calendar.
  • Community Interaction. Actively engage with the community in comments, DMs, and local trends. Monitor conversations around PUBG MOBILE and jump in where relevant.
  • Local Creative & Trend Integration. Spot relevant local trends, memes, and cultural moments. Propose content ideas that merge these with PUBG MOBILE’s identity and product beats.
  • Creative Briefing. Work closely with designers and agencies to brief local content needs. This includes both original local creative and localized adaptations of global assets.
  • Marketing Support. Collaborate with regional marketing teams to develop creative concepts that support new version launches, product updates, and seasonal campaigns.

Experience/Success Factors:  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
  • Passionate gamer with experience in mobile shooter games (PUBG Mobile or similar).
  • Experience managing brand social channels in Germany.
  • Comfortable briefing creatives and reviewing design work.
  • Strong grasp of cultural nuances, internet trends, and youth platforms in your market.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity and cooperate effectively with our international clientele.
  • Proficient with common online community platforms (Discord,Reddit, Wikis, Forums, Twitch etc.) as well as social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat and Facebook).
  • Experience working with content creation tools (eg. Canva, CapCut, Photoshop etc.)
  • Experience working with project management and social media tools (eg. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Asana, Trello etc.).
  • Fluent in German and English

Bonus Points

  • Experience recording and editing in-game content (PUBG MOBILE preferred).
  • Comfortable jumping into live social conversations and meme culture.
