Role: Associate Client Solutions Partner
Experience: 5-7 years
Work location: Mumbai / Bengaluru (Hybrid)
Role & Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement
- Partner with internal sales, Google and Client teams to qualify opportunities, understand requirements, and define technical scope
- Lead technical discovery workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution discussions with Google and customers
- Act as the primary technical advisor to customers
Solution Design
- Design high-level and detailed GCP solution architectures for infrastructure modernization and security use cases
- Propose VM migration and application migration strategies and design end to end solution for GCVE, GCE and GKE
- Define GCP Foundations / Landing Zone architectures including networking, IAM, security, logging, monitoring, and governance
- Design DevOps, DR & Backup architectures using native GCP and 3rd party solutions
Technical Enablement & Demonstration
- Create and deliver technical presentations, solution walkthroughs, and architecture diagrams
- Conduct demos, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and capability showcases (as required)
- Clearly articulate business value, ROI, and technical differentiation of the proposed solutions
Proposal Ownership
- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and Statements of Work from a technical perspective
- Define solution assumptions, sizing, effort estimates, commercials and architecture artifacts
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and secure
Security & Best Practices Advisory
- Advise customers on GCP security best practices, compliance considerations, and risk mitigation strategies
- Position security-first architectures covering IAM, network security, data protection, and governance
- Support conversations around regulatory compliance and enterprise security posture
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- 5+ years of IT experience with strong exposure to cloud pre-sales or solution architecture
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including: Compute Engine (GCE), VMware Engine (GCVE), Kubernetes Engine (GKE), VPC, NGFW, IAM, Cloud Storage, Load Balancing, Monitoring & Logging
- Experience in designing solution for on-prem / AWS / Azure to GCP
- Strong understanding of GCP Foundations / Landing Zones
- Solid understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
- Knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Backup, and High Availability architectures on GCP
- Familiarity with Terraform / IaC concepts
Communication & Stakeholder Skills
- Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong documentation and proposal-writing skills
- Confident in leading architecture discussions and influencing customer decisions
Good to Have
- Experience in VMware, AWS and Azure solutions
- GCP Certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer)
