The Campaigns and Events Specialist responsible for creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and events across various marketing channels (digital marketing, direct mail, social media, live and virtual events, email, etc.). This role will play a crucial role in building sales pipeline and client account retention and growth to support the AMER region. This role is focused on developing and executing marketing awareness programs and lead generation campaigns relevant to the regional marketplaces. The Campaigns and Events Specialist will partner with the AMER Field Marketing Manager as well as with sales, market development representatives, account management and corporate marketing teams to execute tactics in alignment with defined strategies. This position will be located at our Bloomington, MN, US office.
What you'll be doing...

  • Work in conjunction with the regional marketing leads to execute against the marketing strategy and lead generation plans, track progress in Salesforce and Pardot, analyze effectiveness and adjust for changes in the marketplace and new offerings to meet needs of the local markets.
  • Plan, organize, manage, analyze and report on event production, promotion, logistics and effectiveness for company-sponsored and hosted events (e.g. trade shows and exhibits, conferences, speaking opportunities and webinars). Creates and executes plans in the areas of facility/onsite support and set-up, equipment, catering, speaker care, production and distribution of materials/signage for IDeaS and third-party live and virtual events.
  • Plan, organize, manage, analyze and report on the impact of marketing communication campaigns for lead generation (e.g. pre & post event email and social media communications, ad campaigns, promotions).
  • Coordinate advertisement placements in print, electronic and PPC opportunities.
  • Coordinate translations and any required customization with 3rd party translation agency partner for regional marketing materials.
  • Analyzes data to make informed decisions for current and future events/activities/projects to validate success and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Initiates and nurtures relationships with internal partners, stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure successful event/activity/project completion.
  • Monitors individual project expenses to keep within budget guidelines; works to minimize costs and maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilizes and masters systems that enable marketing processes and campaign development.
  • Travel expected in order to support corporate events, when applicable.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.


What you'll bring to us...

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, relationship development, or sales within the business-to-business or technology industry. Experience in a specific industry, market, technology, or business initiative related to area of assignment may be substituted for experience in the technology industry.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Considerable understanding of business-to-business sales/marketing processes, operations, and initiatives.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, cross-functional customer-driven environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong decision-making, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation and/or email distribution software (i.e. Pardot, Salesloft).
  • Working knowledge of web conferencing software (i.e. WebEx, ON24).
  • Some experience in working directly with creative resources on a wide variety of online and offline tactics.
  • Outstanding organizational, project and time management skills.
  • Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members.
  • Strong English communication skills as well as editing, writing, and proofreading skills.
  • Can meet tight deadlines while staying on track toward completion of long-term projects, goals and budget.
  • Marketing experience specific to the hotel, hospitality or travel industry.
  • Experience marketing to multiple countries and across international markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
