Business Manager is an experienced professional who manages headcount governance, budgeting and forecasting, spend governance, location strategy and executive reporting for India based teams across Mumbai and Bengaluru. This will also partner with stakeholders to establish, evolve, and track key business results/metrics. Business Manager should be proficient at managing CFO level stakeholders, working with large teams, as well as help the business run efficiently and effectively.

We are looking for a candidate with business management experience who will be able to support the team & its leads on Business Management & MIS requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business as well as contributing to strategic goals for the future. The candidate should be able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company’s vision and culture.
Key responsibilities of the role are noted below:
Management & Reporting
Provide Business Management support for CIB Finance India supporting Forecasting, Budgeting, Location Strategy, Spend governance and analytics
Manage risk and control agenda
Manage seat utilization and allocations for all India locations ensuring efficient resource utilization
Work closely with various support teams such as CAO office, Real Estate teams, Recruitment teams to drive key strategies
Continually evolve the analytics and data presentations to enable fast and accurate decision making
Assist the Finance leadership in executing initiatives and programs
Ensure collaboration with Recruitment team on Headcount Governance(Hiring Stats, Hiring drives etc)
- Strong expertise in business strategy and strategic frameworks
- Accurate Headcount Tacking & Governance for the function, working with Finance partners & finance leads to ensure Head Count targets are achieved as per plan.
- Conduct regular review meeting with Finance leads on Headcount Forecast v/s plan Target
- Execute and implement strategy and business initiatives
- Support the Business Lead on various MIS reporting requirement & analysis.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including Finance, Recruitment, Risk, Controls, Compliance & other support teams to ensure accurate MIS for the Function.
- Partner with local support functions and stakeholders to unblock any administrative issues for finance team;
- Continuously seek out process simplification and re-engineering opportunities to improve operational efficiency;
- Support in facilitating team events, conferences etc.
Identify, assess and mitigate day to day operational risks;
To consolidate and prepare presentation decks and review packs for Senior Management
- Consolidation & reporting of HC Walk-forward Plan for CIB (Opening HC, Migrations/Growth, Efficiency Saves and Closing HC)
- To consolidate and prepare India Book on a monthly basis for GFBM
- Closely work with the Finance team for budgeting requirement and monitoring of expenses for business management center.
- To consolidate and prepare presentation decks and review packs for Senior Management Reviews
- Updating & reporting of Consolidated HLP numbers to GFBM Management.
- Co-ordination with various Sub lines of business & functions in CIB for the 3-year headcount forecast to be submitted in the HLP
Project Management and events
- Work on various projects and initiatives for the CIB Finance & Business Management including townhall, leadership offsites and senior leadership visits
- Work as strategic partner with the support functions for GFBM level events and initiative and act as a solution provider.
- To co-ordinate & consolidate CIB submission for information requirements from GFBM and India GCC CAO/CEO’s office
Partner & work on global projects from Global CIB F&BM

Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA (Finance) with 10 + years of post-qualification experience
- Experience in a similar business management support or reporting role preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and effectively to multiple stakeholders in various locations globally
- Should be good at MS Excel and preparing presentations (PowerPoint)
