Who You Are:
The Associate Business Director has 6-9 years’ experience and is ready for a role that positions them as the decision maker of the action - both with the client and the internal Chiat team.
You will own various campaign workstreams, driving projects forward autonomously with oversight from a Business Director. You will be responsible for building the project path and managing project development from strategy to execution with a strong ability to recognize a project’s impact on the overall Hilton business and TBWA’s body of work.
You proactively drive projects forward and make the process better, but also offer a strategic perspective because of your deep understanding of the client’s business needs.
You are an operational and process guru – extremely organized, process oriented, and constantly looking how we can work smarter and more efficiently.
You are able to develop and confidently present a compelling argument. You present information in a way that is easily understood and are clear with prescribing actionable feedback and next steps.
As you develop in this role, the Associate Business Director will need to exude confidence in the ability to flex the muscles that will prepare them for a Business Director role – command of the business, command of the room, mastery of debate, and motivation of the army.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
The Associate Business Director will establish close client relationships, lead client and internal meetings, partner and collaborate with Project Management to make sure the work is delivered on time, on brief and on budget.

- Builds and develops strong relationships with key clients, and internal team members,
- Works autonomously, can drive projects without hand holding from a director – and has the ability to manage up
- Identifies issues to knows when to bring in the Business Director at the right points
- Understands the account, the clients and competitors’ business and the process well enough to have answers to most client questions in the moment
- Articulates a point of view on work. Formulates a strong POV on deliverables for strategic projects when the deliverables themselves are undefined by client

Location:
Given the nature of our Business team and the client assigned to this role, we are only considering candidates that currently live in or wish to relocate to New York City, in the near future (first 60 days of employment).
The annual salary range for this role is $115,000 - $135,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location and experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable.
