About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Blockchain Developer – Backend Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with our senior engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable and secure blockchain-based backend systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of Web3 innovation and contribute to cutting-edge decentralized applications and services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about blockchain and cryptocurrency development, with opportunities to contribute to both infrastructure and token-based ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend components of blockchain-based applications.
- Work with smart contracts, distributed systems, and cryptographic protocols.
- Build and integrate APIs for interacting with blockchain networks and external services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, secure, and well-documented code.
- Assist in testing, debugging, and deploying blockchain-based applications.
- Monitor and optimize performance of backend systems and smart contract interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in blockchain development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in backend development.
- Solid understanding of programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Go, or Rust.
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, or similar.
- Basic understanding of smart contracts and tools like Web3.js, Ethers.js, or Hardhat.
- Exposure to cryptocurrency protocols and token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721), including experience with wallet integration or token lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with smart contract development (Solidity, Vyper).
- Experience developing or contributing to cryptocurrency systems or DeFi protocols (e.g., token contracts, exchanges, wallet infrastructure).
- Exposure to DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of Layer 2 solutions, DeFi protocols, or NFT platforms.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
