The Role

FINN is an independent platform for car subscriptions from over 30 brands. Your Role

As an Associate Backend Engineer on our Operations team, you will have an impact that influences the experience of our customers as well as efficiency of our Fleet Managers. You ensure that we have a seamless best-in-class customer experience and our processes are running silky-smooth and are highly scalable. This includes building integrations with our partners, internal tools for our Fleet Managers, and customer-facing solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Do it, do it, automate it: Simplify, automate and optimize processes that are currently carried out manually using no-code tools as Make or Retool (20%) and solid hard code implementation (80%).
You build it, you run it: Build features and take ownership for testing, deployment and monitoring of your code. Yes, we believe in Serverless!
Share your technical expertise: Play a driving technical role in the Backend team. You will be able to share your technical knowledge and engineering best practices, as well as shape technical discussions to deliver the best possible solutions.

Your Profile

Experience in software engineering with a hands-on mindset.
Experience with Javascript and Typescript.
Knowledge in SQL, Docker and building HTTP APIs or with serverless applications is a plus.
Experience with Git and traditional PR review processes is a plus.
Previous experience in an agile development team.
Strong growth mind-set and the motivation to continuously improve self and team performance.
Fluency in English.
