Job summary

You will support the pro forma reporting process reflecting the lifetime profitability of loans and leases, and conduct analysis to support assumptions and forecasted inputs. You will contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on automation and optimized processes.
Job responsibilities
- Support month-end accruals, reversals, and forecast routines for the business, including preparation of key reports, reconciliations, and stakeholder commentary
- Assist with annual and ongoing planning activities (forecasting, budgeting, trend/exception monitoring), including documenting assumptions and tracking changes over time
- Perform variance and driver analyses to explain results versus prior forecast/budget and highlight key risks and opportunities
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics, support data quality initiatives, and identify future reporting needs on a variety of topics to senior management
- Build and maintain management-ready materials and recurring deliverables; ensure outputs are accurate, well-controlled, and delivered on time
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of reports and dashboards to improve clarity, automation, and scalability
- Identify opportunities to enhance controls and streamline processes, including automation where feasible (for example, Excel tooling, Databricks/SQL, Alteryx)
- Partner with Pricing, Chief Financial Officer, Risk, and Treasury teams to handle business-change projects, owning end-to-end validation and sign-off
- Support governance and controls, including monitoring data integrity and participating in a robust testing environment
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and partner with Technology to remediate by fixing or updating PySpark code
- Provide ad hoc analysis and impact analysis on profitability as needed
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 4–7 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), finance, accounting, or analytics (or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to work with large datasets and reconcile results to source information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills—able to summarize findings clearly and concisely in writing and verbally
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Positive, collaborative team mindset with high ownership on time-sensitive deliverables
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (executive-ready storytelling)
- Experience with SQL and data platforms such as Databricks and/or Snowflake
- Experience in automation tools like Alteryx
- Exposure to dashboards/reporting tools (for example, Tableau) is a plus
- Experience using AI tools such as large language models (LLM) and Copilot for process optimization
