Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Represent and advise clients on litigation and business-related legal matters
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, memoranda, and other legal documents
- Analyze legal and factual issues and provide practical recommendations and solutions
- Manage matters from inception through resolution while ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
- Appear in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and other litigation-related matters
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and responsiveness
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff in a team-oriented environment
- Maintain organized case management practices and prioritize competing responsibilities
- Support firm initiatives and contribute positively to team culture and professional development efforts
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission required
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of rules of civil procedure and evidence required
- Courtroom experience required; jury trial experience is a plus but not required
- Business education and/or prior business experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, proactive, responsive, and client-service oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in an in-office, collaborative environment
