Attorney - First-Party Property
Location - Fort LauderdaleWe are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with interest in First-Party Insurance Litigation to join our team.
About the Role:
As an Associate Attorney in our firm, you will manage a variety of insurance-related cases, ranging from initial evaluation through resolution. You will work closely with senior attorneys and partners, developing strategies for complex litigation and interacting directly with clients. This role offers significant autonomy over your cases while being supported by a collaborative legal team.
You will primarily focus on both first-party claims involving insurance coverage disputes and third-party claims regarding defense litigation. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a caseload of first and third-party property litigation matters, including conducting discovery, drafting motions, and preparing for trial.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop litigation strategies.
- Provide legal representation to insurance clients in a wide range of litigation matters, ensuring excellent service and case outcomes.
- Maintain regular client communication and provide status updates.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in First-Party Insurance Litigation or related fields preferred.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Florida and in good standing.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills with experience managing cases from inception through resolution.

Skills Required
