About the Position
Timoney Knox, LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the Litigation team in our Fort Washington, PA office. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys on a wide range of matters, including commercial litigation, real estate law and litigation, along with other related transactional and advisory work.
We are looking for an attorney who not only has strong litigation skills but also possesses (or is eager to develop) a deep understanding of real estate-related disputes and transactions. This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and is committed to excellence in both advocacy and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation;
- Work on a mix of matters consisting of commercial litigation, real estate litigation and other real estate related work;
- Conduct in-depth legal research and draft clear, persuasive legal documents;
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and colleagues;
- Collaborate within a collegial and supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- License in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania;
- 5 or more years of relevant litigation experience;
- Experience in both commercial litigation and real estate law/litigation (or a strong interest and aptitude in real estate matters);
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and litigation practice;
- Willing and able to work primarily in-office, with the option of one remote day per week available after six months (based on performance and firm needs)
