Experience
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate litigation/tort based litigation
- Comfortable managing a docket on your own and handling cases from beginning to end
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent oral communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to travel when necessary
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Participate in case strategy discussions and negotiations
- Manage case files and maintain accurate and organized records
