We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant or ACA Trainee to join our team. This role provides hands-on exposure to outsourced accounting, tax compliance, and cloud-based financial systems, with the opportunity to develop into a well-rounded accounting and advisory professional.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records for client businesses
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support tax compliance processes including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and statutory filings
• Participate in bank reconciliations and transaction reviews
• Assist in payroll processing and related statutory remittances
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
• Work with cloud accounting systems such as Xero, Zoho, and Usawa
• Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems for clients
• Provide support during client engagements and advisory assignments
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes

Requirements
Educational & Professional Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• ACA (freshly qualified) or currently pursuing Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria certification
• Minimum of Second Class Upper (preferred)

Experience
• 0–2 years relevant experience (including NYSC, internship, or entry-level role)
• Prior exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, or tax processes is an advantage

Technical Competence
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data organization, basic analysis)
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Zoho, QuickBooks) is an added advantage
• Understanding of Nigerian tax concepts (VAT, WHT, PAYE) is desirable
