We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join Movado Group as an Associate Account Executive for key department store and/or chain accounts. The Associate Account Executive will support in identifying, cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing and new accounts to generate profitable and sustainable growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Act as the account manager for assigned accounts, responsible for sell-in and sell-through aspects of the business:
- Analyze Retail Sales
- Maintain topline this year /last year sales weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Review sku assortment sales and door sales weekly and monthly and identify assortment update opportunities, reorders, newness buys and markdowns across accounts.
- Manage orders and markdowns monthly, quarterly, seasonally based on account sales trends.
- Build seasonal assortments by Account by Brand
- Prepare quarterly and seasonal growth strategies to drive corporate, brand and customer objectives presented at market meetings.
- Communicate product opportunities to Brand teams through sales and trends on styling and price.
- Launch Quarterly Newness by brand based on story telling strategies and trends.
- Forecast product accordingly
- Manage Order Maintenance
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to allocate, fulfill, and ship goods on time.
- Track allocations and release orders to ship, secure extensions and monitor price/order holds.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to allocate, fulfill, and ship goods on time.
- Financial Planning
- Review and update Sales Projections monthly.
- Update Adaptive Workday planning tool with monthly sales / returns/ markdowns projections for corporate planning cycles: Annual Operating Plan and Latest Estimates.
- Monthly updates to WWS (where we stand) to leadership
- Manage Marketing Initiatives by Account
- Forecast budget and execute coop, fixtures, visual merchandising guidelines by account.
- Enter Coop in SAP system and proof of advertising.
- Track advertised sku’s to ensure store delivery and drop ship is feeding.
- Ensure accounts ECom teams are updating sites to new campaign assets.
- Work with Brand and Coordinator teams to request and distribute POS needs to accounts.
- Collaborate cross functionally internally and externally with supply chain, customer service, distribution, finance, legal, brand teams and other sales support areas.
- Interact and collaborate with customer service, distribution and other sales support areas within the organization
- Keep properly informed on assigned brand products and services as well as industry trends
- 20% travel will be involved, including overnight travel
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 3 years’ relevant Sales experience
- Possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, decision making capabilities, and strong organizational skills
- Innovative, to make processes more efficient as needed
- Pro-active, resourceful, self-starter
- Extremely flexible and able to adjust to changing business needs and responsibilities
- Ability to provide support to a large sales team at varying organization levels
- Proficient in Excel and the ability to learn other Microsoft Office features and SAP
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Base salary is determined by individualized factors such as experience and market location.
