Assisted Living Program Manager Opportunity – The Village at Rockville
Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated leadership performance.

A Day in the Life

Each day brings meaningful variety — rounding with your team to ensure clinical excellence, meeting with families to guide care plans, mentoring nurses, CNAs and CMTs, reviewing quality metrics, and partnering with other department leaders to enhance the resident experience. Your decisions will directly impact the safety, quality, and joy residents feel in their daily lives.

What You’ll Lead and Achieve

  • Clinical Excellence: Ensure high-quality, person-centered care that meets and exceeds standards.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and develop nursing staff through mentorship, education, and accountability.
  • Regulatory Readiness: Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations through proactive quality improvement.
  • Resident Experience: Create an environment where residents feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
  • Collaboration: Partner across departments to align care, hospitality, and overall community success.

What You Bring

  • LPN licensed required
  • Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and, Adult First Aid from the American Red Cross and/or American Heart Association
  • 2 years’ experience in a health care related field and successful completion of the 80-hour assisted living manager training program (Maryland only)
  • Must be considerate and respectful of the rights, dignity and sensitivities of aged and disabled persons
  • Must be clean and well-groomed
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing as applicable to their job responsibilities
  • Background check(s) consisting of a sworn statement or affirmation and criminal history check free of barrier crimes
  • Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience in long term care facility or assisted living facility (Virginia only)
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills; and ability to maintain confidentiality residential information
  • Must be proficient with a computer to include utilizing an electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medication administration record (eMAR) as well as Microsoft Office

  • Supervise the assisted living nursing service program to ensure high-quality care for residents.
  • Manage clinical oversight of resident care in assisted living and memory support.
  • Report to physicians, regulatory bodies, and legal representatives as needed.
  • Complete resident assessments and care plans.
  • Provide staff training.
  • Ensure resident records are maintained and updated.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident care.
  • Coordinate resident transfers to appropriate care settings.
  • Maintain compliance with nursing standards and facility policies.

Skills Required
