Assistant Vice President, Market Insights and Affiliate Network

Job Description

This role will drive the expansion of our network by onboarding new affiliate partners, both locally and internationally, enabling us to venture into new markets beyond our existing e-commerce B2C services.

Market Insights

• Support Head Commercial in the development of a business strategy to meet revenue targets

• Provide market insights to prioritise sales and commercial efforts towards capturing a greater share of the domestic market

• Identify the market segment and industry where Singpost has an unique advantage given its infrastructure strengths

• Understand the domestics markets and its competitive landscape and advice on the commercial and pricing strategy

• Develop the playbook and work with the sales support team and internal stakeholders to increase sale cycle velocity

• Support sales activities with market intelligence and insights to enable better customer engagement and sales closure

Affiliate Network Development

• Establish strategic partnerships with affiliate solutions providers to enter new market segments within Singapore

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing partners to maximize value creation

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless partner onboarding, integration, and ongoing support

• Identify overseas affiliates that can provide last mile alternatives to postal partners

• Engaging customs brokers and freight forwarders to as part of commercial line haul affiliates
   

Business Intelligence

• Drive the business intelligence updates so as to measure the sales performance

• Using operational data to provide customers with insights to derive greater customer satisfaction

• Understand customer priorities and work with operations team to strengthen certain capabilities

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions in SingPost Group – including Business Units, Operations, Group Technology, Finance, Customer Service, as well as external stakeholders – to drive new strategic projects and initiatives that support the growth strategy and maximize business performance

Requirement

• Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain or equivalent. Diploma and certification in freight forwarding will be an advantage

• Minimum of 3 years in logistics industry (or equivalent), focused on Singapore markets and preferably with business development exposure

• Market understanding, Adaptability, Systems Thinking, Ability to work with cross functional teams
