Job Description
Antares Capital is looking for a Front Office Developer to build and support the technology that powers our trading desk. This is a highly collaborative, hands‑on role where you’ll work side‑by‑side with traders to customize vendor platforms, integrate front‑office systems, and develop tools that enhance automation, workflow efficiency, and trading insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and extend vendor trading applications to meet front‑office requirements
- Integrate trading and analytics systems with the broader Antares technology platform
- Develop tools and applications that improve trading automation, workflow efficiency, and decision‑making
- Collaborate directly with traders and portfolio managers to understand needs and deliver high‑impact solutions
- Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve front‑office systems in a fast‑paced environment
- Participate in the future build‑out of AI capabilities for the trading desk
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with trading technology in an asset management environment, with exposure to Fixed Income and/or Private Credit.
- Proven understanding of credit markets, including loan trading and private debt instruments.
- Strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
- Demonstrable experience building analytics and data-driven solutions using Python.
- Experience developing and delivering reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with modern application architectures, including React, REST APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture principles, with the ability to build solutions aligned to broader system, information, and integration strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and partner effectively across product, platform, data, and risk/security teams.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at the time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Actual base salary within the specified range is comprised of several components, including but not limited to applicant's skill, prior relevant experience, specific degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and the location of the position.
This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance).

Base Salary Range
$145,000 — $170,000
