Key Responsibilities

  • Lead junior staffs and support supervisors in delivering tax compliance services, including providing day‑to‑day support on clients’ tax compliance‑related matters.
  • Assist supervisors in managing tax audits, including communications and coordination with the Revenue Department.
  • Manage and deliver tax compliance engagements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable Thai tax regulations.
  • Review corporate income tax returns and related filings, including Personal Income tax (PIT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Specific Business Tax (SBT), and Stamp Duty.
  • Monitor engagement progress, manage deadlines, and ensure deliverables meet firm quality standards.
  • Provide technical review and guidance to junior team members, identifying issues, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ownership by acting as a hands-on preparer when required, particularly during peak periods or where team capacity is constrained, while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and consistency within the tax compliance team.
  • Play a key role in coaching and developing staff, promoting knowledge sharing and compliance excellence, and participate in business development activities, professional networking, and social media engagement.


Qualifications

  • Thai nationality
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in Thai tax compliance, covering major tax areas including PIT, CIT, VAT, WHT, SBT, and Stamp Duty, preferably gained within a professional services firm or corporate environment
  • Strong computer literacy, with practical experience using accounting and tax systems; advanced Excel skills are highly desirable
  • Highly proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients, management, and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to review tax work, identify technical and compliance issues, and provide clear, practical guidance to junior team members with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and ownership mindset, with the ability and willingness to step in as a hands‑on preparer when required, particularly during peak periods or when junior resources are constrained, while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
  • Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset, capable of independently resolving problems and improving processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to continuous professional development
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with the confidence and maturity to coach, guide, and support junior staff

Skills Required
