What is the NextGen Junior Training Program?

Our program is an immersive experience designed for those starting their tech careers. It serves as a stepping stone toward permanent employment as a Junior Developer at Blankfactor. The program offers hands-on training to fast-track your development as a software engineer through real-world fintech challenges. The projects you’ll be working on are led by fintech experts and senior engineers and aimed at solving real-world financial services challenges. 

What You’ll Learn:

• Hands-on Training Projects: Work on fintech development projects that tackle real-world challenges, such as building secure payment gateways, risk management platforms, and data-driven financial insights.

• Understanding Fintech Challenges: Gain insights into the unique demands of fintech, such as security, compliance, and scalability, and learn about payment systems, AI in finance, and cybersecurity.

• Best Practices in Software Development: Learn Agile methodologies, and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD). Use tools like Git, Docker, and Jenkins, with a focus on security best practices in handling financial data.

• Master New Technologies: Get hands-on experience with modern tools and technologies such as data encryption, AI, cloud computing, and financial APIs. You’ll also learn how to securely manage transactional data and integrate it with major banking platforms.

• Collaboration & Communication: Work alongside senior developers and product managers, engaging in real-time problem-solving. Receive personalized mentoring and feedback to support your continuous improvement.

By the End of the Program, You Will Have:

• Gained confidence in building and deploying fintech applications with industry-standard security, scalability, and efficiency

• Honed your soft skills in teamwork, communication, and presenting technical ideas

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who:

• Are at the beginning of their engineering career (up to one year of experience)

• Have experience in Java, C#, or Python (experience in JavaScript, React, or Angular preferred)

• Are eager to learn how technology transforms the financial industry

• Possess strong problem-solving skills and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment

• Communicate effectively in English

• Are self-driven and motivated to grow both personally and professionally
