Position Details
The OSP Assistant Project manager plays a vital role in OSP’s leadership team, facilitating and governing all aspects of our operational finances and client operations of an OSP build. The OSP Assistant Project Manager will specifically direct and support the work of Project Managers who manage day-to-day operations initiatives surrounding project schedule, cross-functional coordination with project team, reporting, and project closure.
Responsibilities:
- Generate, manage, and drive operational schedule
- Coordinate operational schedule with client
- Perform all cross-functional coordination between Engineering, GIS, Licensing and Permitting
- Work with project control peers on the financial health of projects and programs
- Assist Project Managers with operational questions
- Manage coordination of underground and aerial make ready construction between client and Tilson
- Create customer facing reports and presentations
- Work with construction to issue construction work orders to subcontractors
- Reconcile and QC contractor invoice with construction production
- QC subcontractor red lines and coordinates with Engineering for As-builts
- Assist functional teams with programmatic approach and responsible for leading scoping sessions, planning, documenting processes, identifying risks, stakeholder communication, training, execution, and closeout
- Lead training effort for the workforce to ensure everyone understands roles and responsibilities for operational processes
- Produce and distribute high-level reports by market and project
- Analyze projects, markets, and programs and distribute findings to identify the root cause and drive resolution
- Lead efforts to automate systems and processes surrounding operations
- Create, modify, and distribute operational processes
- Responsible for clear operations processes and all operational use of tools surrounding project start, execution, and closure
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Business Administration or related degree preferred.
- Experience in Operations Management
- Telecom industry experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to understand key financial principles and deep understanding of accounting rules, logic, and function
- Must have strong leadership and organizational development skills
- Proven experience driving growth and profitability in a high pace, a technical field
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience in financial modeling with a focus on understanding the business behind the numbers
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed, with approximately 25% travel within the US
- Proven record of working successfully with ambiguous information and limited direction
Must be at least 21 years of age to meet Tilson’s driving eligibility requirements.

Tilson leads with integrity around pay transparency; as part of the compensation plan for this position you can expect a pay range of:
$70,000.00 - $95,000.00
