The Assistant Project Manager (APM) provides support for the successful implementation of nuclear power plant projects at Holtec International. Projects encompass all phases of the project life cycle and may focus on a variety of specialties including engineering design, construction, and large component manufacturing. The APM is an effective communicator who is able to follow established processes with the overall project management team. Principal duties include:
- Collection of contract and project requirements
- Responsible for planning and running meetings
- Assist the engineering, manufacturing, and/or construction management teams as applicable in the development of their work
- Support cross-team communication
- Establish and updates tasks or timelines as needed
- Maintain project metrics including budget, schedule and KPIs
- Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, contract requirements, and applicable standards
- Preparation of proposals and commercial quotes for out-of-scope work as required
- Implementation of Project Management tools to ensure project success
All candidates MUST possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited, four-year university
- Strong time management, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident Status
- This role is available to experienced or entry level applicants
- Relevant project management experience (preferred but not required for entry level applicants)

Holtec International is a global turnkey supplier of equipment and services for the Nuclear, Solar, Geothermal, and Fossil Power Generation sectors of the energy and petrochemical industry.
