The University of Kalba’s College of Sport Science invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Sport Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching, practical instruction, and academic support across the undergraduate program within the College. The ideal candidate will possess strong pedagogical skills, a commitment to student-centred learning, and a passion for promoting health, fitness, and sport education.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in areas of sport rehabilitation, sports injury management, and related disciplines.
- Conduct practical sessions and field-based activities that enhance students’ applied learning.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities.
- Minimum Qualification:
- PhD in Sport Rehabilitation/Sport Science.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level.
- Evidence of professional engagement in sport, sport science and sport rehabilitation practice.
- Professional licence in sport rehabilitation/sport therapy.
- Strong research record.
- Experience integrating technology and digital tools into teaching.
- Familiarity with international standards in sport rehabilitation education.
- Certification in sport rehabilitation/sport therapy.
Skills Required
