The university of Kalba college of law seeks a qualified candidate to teach full time courses in both administrative and constitutional law We invite candidates who possess a strong academic background, relevant professional experience, and a passion for teaching and research in the field of administrative and constitutional law. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver courses in both administrative and constitutional law at both undergraduate and graduate level.
-Employing innovative and effective teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancements within the department.
- Maintain active involvement in professional organizations related to law.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students pursuing careers in law.
- Contribute to departmental and university service through committee participation, academic advising, and other activities.
-Adhere to confidentiality and other ethical standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives and engage in community outreach.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the relevant field.
Research Record:The applicant must demonstrate a strong and distinguished research profile, evidenced by publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus. The applicant is also expected to possess an appropriate H-index that reflects meaningful scholarly impact and significant contributions to the field of Administrative Law /Constitutional Law.
Qualifications- Hold a Ph.D. degree in administrative law or constitutional law
- Demonstrate expertise and a strong research track record, evidenced by publications in reputable academic journals.
- Possess experience in teaching administrative law /constitutional law.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines for course preparation, grading, and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages is required.
- The short-listed candidate will be interviewed in both Arabic and English languages.
