Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and scheduling materials required for production.
- Monitor part availability and identify shortages before they impact manufacturing.
- Support consumption and components and materials in M3, including serialized items and delivery-upon-request materials.
- Review and maintain accurate Manufacturing Orders (MOs) and ensure timely updates.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to resolve material discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to support accurate demand and supply planning.
- Help maintain BOM accuracy and report issues to appropriate teams.
- Track slow-moving, shortage, or critical components and communicate risks.
- Support receipt processes for incoming materials and assist in resolving receiving issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in planning and material flow.
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ experience as a production planner or in a related field preferred.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent; further education or certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in material planning, inventory, scheduling or warehouse operations.
- Experience in MRP systems (Manufacturing resource planning).
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, good critical thinking and conflict resolution skills, ability to work individually of with a team, ability to adapt under changing circumstances, good understanding of the manufacturing process on the line and systematically.
Skills Required
