Baptist Downtown is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Main Operating Room team. This is a full-time day shift opportunity.
Assistant Nurse Manager, Job Responsibilities:
Providing nursing care to patients on the unit
The assessment and reassessment of unit function; serves as a liaison for staff, physicians and other departments.
Providing resource for staff members as well as mentors growth and provides feedback to staff
Monitoring/adjusting manhours in accordance with unit budget
Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews
Facilitates any special needs of the surgeon, meets with vendors and keeps preference sheets current
Is able to perform any role in the service - scrub, assist or circulating
Experience Requirements:
2 Years Operating Room Nursing Experience required.
Education & Credential Requirements:
Associate of Science Degree, Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Licensed Registered Nurse Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
