The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore. We contribute to Grab's vision by developing business strategies that serve our community. The GrabFood team is a dynamic team within the Deliveries family that works together with other departments within the Singapore Operations team to increase business growth for the GrabFood vertical.

Get to know the role

We are seeking a motivated and strategic thinker to join our GrabFood team as an Assistant Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving merchant growth, and developing strategies to enhance merchant engagement and performance on the GrabFood platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader business goals while advocating for merchant success. Additionally, you will conduct in-depth analyses and provide actionable recommendations to enhance project outcomes.

This role will report to the Manager of GrabFood, Onsite, at Grab's One North office. 

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Analyze market trends, merchant performance, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Develop and execute merchant strategies that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention while aligning with GrabFood’s overall business objectives
• Design and implement initiatives to enhance merchant visibility, competitiveness, and profitability on the platform. Conduct in-depth analysis of campaigns and initiatives to uncover actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making
• Business planning and ability to construct simple models pertaining to the business case; Analysis and presentation of business case, with quality benchmarks and relevant assumptions
• Ensure strict adherence to project / launch timelines and ensure project / launch visibility to the company leadership

The Must-Haves 

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business/Engineering or other relevant courses
• 3-5 years of experience working at top-tier consulting firms, and/or at leading regional or global tech and ecommerce firms
• Competent with spreadsheets with basic proficiency in querying (SQL/Python)
• Familiar with project management and adept at deck preparation 
• Structured thought process and strong analytical abilities
