YOUR TASKS:
Responsible for preparation of monthly accounting entries and reconciliations for intercompany balances, accounts receivables and other ancillary balance sheet accounts.
Prepare and review foreign exchange translation journal entries to ensure accurate consolidation.
Assist in the preparation of investor reports and consolidated financial statements.
Ensure Timely submission & reporting of Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Management Accounts
Review and monitor the health of financial and KPI’s compliance for the Hong Kong entities groups of companies in charge.
Coordinate with local accounting firms for financial reporting and tax filling of Taiwan and Japan entities.
Manage and forecast cash flow to support operational and strategic needs.
Handle payment management and process client billings on a timely basis.
Review product costing and profit margins.
Maintain internal control, compliance and inventory review, documentation and financial processes
Lead & supervise the finance team to fulfil the jobs responsibilities & meet KPI’s.
Ensure the Finance team assists with on-going cost saving projects, including identification, monitoring, and analysing financial efficiencies.
Participate in Business Risk Management & Strategic Planning & Execution
Handle all matters related to tax, audit, company secretarial requirements, banking and treasury operations.
Attend to banking and treasury matters
Undertake other ad hoc duties as at when is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Finance and Accounting or an equivalent qualification
Good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin. Mandarin skills are required due to the need to liaise with Mandarin-speaking employees and clients.
At least 5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
Result oriented and detail minded person.
Hands on and self-motivated person
Independent and strong sense of responsibility
Able to work under pressure and hardworking.
Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into valuable information.
Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
Knowledge of financial reporting and understanding of HKFRS and IFRS
Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Skills Required
