We have an opportunity for an Assistant Entity Controller to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the controllership function. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and assist in driving the financial close processes for the designated entity.

In this role, you will impact on the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the entity by providing accurate financial data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Your expertise in financial reporting and analysis will be instrumental in providing valuable recommendations and guidance to senior management. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulations
  • Support the financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations
  • Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures specific to the entity
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at the entity level
  • Assist in managing and developing a team of finance professionals
