BOM Assistant Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- RFQ & Costing Support:
- Raise and manage RFQs in collaboration with NPI, Costing Engineers and Supply chain.
- Compilation of product cost to support quotation team during bidding.
- ERP Management:
- Upload and maintain accurate part numbers, quantities, units of measure, and cost within SAP.
- Engineering Change Management (ECO/ECN):
- Track engineering changes, ensuring relevant costs involved in implementation or liabilities are captured.
- Update SAP in accordance with Engineering change.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with NPI, engineering, procurement, supply chain and Sales.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel
- Proficient in SAP preferred.
- Understanding of multi-line Bill of Materials and Mechanical drawings.
- Strong numerical reasoning and exceptional attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams.
- Candidates with a background in business automation and Power Automate will be given preference.
- Note to Entry-Level Applicants: Fresh Diploma graduates who demonstrate the right analytical aptitude, strong Excel foundations, and sharp attention to detail are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
