Applications are invited for the above post in the SoC Programmes & Initiatives Team of Retail Strategy & Product Portfolio Management Department. Reporting to the team lead, the appointee will be responsible for the followings:
Major Duties:
- Administer various SoC Programmes & Initiatives throughout the end-to-end process
- Conduct technical and financial assessment for the energy saving projects for subsidy application under the funding schemes implemented by CLP Power
- Prepare technical and financial assessment reports after completing the assessment
- Coordinate with the applicants for necessary documents to fulfill the subsidy approval requirement
- Report progress of SoC initiative achievement to the Government
- Coordinate and support the implementation of new initiatives under Scheme of Control regime
- Support enquiries from various stakeholders in relation to the schemes
- Keep abreast of the latest energy efficiency and innovation technologies for supporting the technical and financial assessment tasks as well as promotion to customers
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Energy, Mechanical, Electrical or related disciplines, with a minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in engineering capacity
- Good technical knowledge for verifying building services installations including air-conditioning system, lighting, lift, water pumping etc.
- Good knowledge for verifying energy saving projects in compliance with the Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance enacted by the Hong Kong SAR Government
- Good knowledge in energy efficiency technologies
- Able to work independently to conduct technical and financial assessment (including site verification)
- Customer-oriented, self-motivated, good team player, able to work under pressure and tight schedule
- Sound team leadership experience would be an advantage
- Working independently with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Candidate with less experience will be considered for junior position
Skills Required
- Recognized university degree in Building Services, Energy, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline

- Technical knowledge of building services installations (air-conditioning, lighting, lifts, water pumping)
- Knowledge of Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance compliance and verification of energy saving projects
