As a member of, and in collaboration with, the Anti-Trafficking Services Management Team, the Anti-Trafficking Services Assistant Director provides oversight and management to the Anti-Trafficking Services’ case management programs, ensuring the provision of high-quality services and community planning in alignment with the agency mission. In collaboration with the ATS management team, the Assistant Director also participates in systems work, safety monitoring, and ongoing program development. The Assistant Director may also carry a caseload, as needed.

The scope of the Assistant Director’s management and leadership responsibilities includes program administration and implementation, quality of services, staff supervision and support, and ensuring the safety of clients and staff, and community engagement and planning. The Assistant Director also works in conjunction with the Director in program development and evaluation, resource and systems development, community relations and grants management.

This position is contingent upon the continued availability of grant funding.

Population Served: Victims/Survivors of Human Trafficking

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position with a schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm with occasional evening and weekend hours as required.

Qualifications

The preferred education and experience qualifications for this position include a Master's degree in social work, nonprofit management, public administration, business administration, or a related field of study; relevant experience managing nonprofit social service programs; and a minimum of three years of management experience working with survivors of violence. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree, significant experience in nonprofit management, including grants management, and the skills, knowledge, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position will also be considered

Also required is an understanding of the Preble Street mission, social work best practices, low-barrier service provision, oppression theory, and social and economic justice; an understanding of and positive regard for individuals experiencing homelessness and/or living in poverty; knowledge of the populations served across all programs and an understanding of the unique and common service needs within the scope of Preble Street's mission; a demonstrated ability to promote and build diverse and inclusive organizations/teams; and the ability to lead and manage a team to achieve outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position offering a competitive pay of $71,000 annually and robust benefits, including:

  • 160 hours vacation time, 96 hours sick time, 32 hours personal time (accrued), 12 Paid Holidays
  • Health insurance w/ 100% employer-paid option; Dental insurance w/ 100% employer-paid option; Vision insurance; Employer-paid Life, STD, and LTD insurance and voluntary, supplemental options.
  • 403(b) retirement plan w/ employer match

Skills Required
