Inizio Evoke Comms is a global, award-winning health communications agency that partners with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, consumer, and non-profit clients. We deliver insights-driven public relations campaigns, policy programs, and initiatives that advance health and wellbeing around the world.

As an Assistant Account Executive, you will work closely with our biotechnology specialty group partnering with your manager and other account leads to support multiple clients on their programs supporting corporate communications public relations, social media, and investor communications.

You will work shoulder to shoulder with innovators and entrepreneurs who are creating the future of medicine, helping them communicate their stories for physicians, patients, pharma partners, employees, and investors.

This is a hybrid role out of our San Diego office that will report into an Account Director.

You Will:

Client Partnership

• Coordinate research, logistics and timelines for client projects
• Handle coordination of client status meetings, including proactive development of agendas and next steps
• Conduct research to support client programs, making recommendations mindful of best practices
• Monitor both traditional and social media to develop reports for clients
• Support development of client communication deliverables as directed by members of the team
• Manage all administrative tasks and logistical support needs as determined by client program
• Coordinate workflow of document and concept reviews among client internal departments/teams
• Establish relationships with clients at appropriate levels

Business Development & Operations

• Conduct research for new business projects
• Proactively seek opportunities to better understand industry / client space

Leadership & Teamwork

• Encourage and respond to feedback from manager and team members
• Participate in and contribute to internal meetings
• Support company values and an inclusive culture

You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business or related health / science field or equivalent experience
• Interest and internship experience in relevant communications or science-related field
• Ability work work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
• Initiative in looking for training on company processes/procedures
• General understanding of traditional and social media
• General understanding of project management
• Superb internal and external communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
• Solid research skills
• A passion for improving lives of patients through innovations in health
