The Role
The Netherlands based institutional client advisor team has a need for a sales support associate. This is an integral role within the institutional sales business. The preferred candidate will be required to work closely with the client advisors to help build and sustain client relationships within the institutional business of JPMorgan Asset Management (JPMAM). The group is responsible for the distribution of all JPMAM products (pooled funds, segregated solutions, ETFs, etc). The target market includes the largest p ension f unds, i nsurance c ompanies and f oundations headquartered across The Netherlands and Belgium.
Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Partner with client advisors to support all facets of the sales and business development process
  • Help identify new business opportunities and upcoming product searches
  • Research prospects within territory, keep client advisor abreast of client developments and industry trends
  • Assist the sales team in maintaining prospect and client databases, ensure that critical client information is stored in the CRM Tool and kept up to date
  • Work with the Request for Proposal (RFP) team to prepare and review new business proposals
  • Coordinate with product teams on client presentations, portfolio reviews and ongoing relationship management efforts
  • Respond to client requests and manage client communications efforts to promote continuous sales dialogue and build client relationships
  • Partner with marketing team on new product launch initiatives and client events
  • Interaction with finance department
  • General ad-hoc admin support for the senior sales team
  • Understand the regulatory and compliance framework, including Know Your Client (KYC) requirements

Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • Masters Degree (or equivalent), financial background is desirable but not essential
  • Language - good command of Dutch and English is required
  • Interest and understanding of Asset Management industry and investment funds
  • Self-starting team player, hardworking and eager to learn
  • High grade on flexibility and capability to work under pressure alongside attention to detail
  • Should be able to quickly form relationships
  • Must be comfortable initiating projects and working under limited direction
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical skills - The ability to quantitatively analyze JPMAM's and the competition's products/performance
  • Software and database skills - Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Eager to learn the client on-boarding & operational processes.
