Asset Management - China Intermediary Client Advisor - Associate

As an Associate Client Advisor in the China Intermediary Business, you will build and deepen strong business partnerships with assigned intermediaries, mainly retail banks, to gain market share. You will proactively communicate with various levels of employees from intermediaries, explore sales and promotional activities, and translate industry developments into business opportunities.
You will prepare business reports, handle business agreement-related issues, and work effectively with different internal parties. Your role is crucial in achieving overall business objectives, including sales targets and other KPIs. This position requires willingness to frequent travel to China.
Job Responsibilities:

• Build and deepen strong business partnerships with assigned intermediaries (mainly to retail banks) and gain our market share
• Proactively communicate with all levels of employees (including gatekeepers, investment consultants, relationship managers) from various intermediaries and explore sales and other promotional activities
• Understand and analyze industry development and translate into business opportunity
• Prepare business report and handle business agreement related issues
• Work effectively with different internal parties and able to present on the team's behalf
• As a team to achieve overall business objectives, including sales targets and other KPIs
• Be willing to travel to China

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• University graduate in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry.
• Solid intermediary or wholesale sales background.
• Good team player whilst able to work independently
• Good analytical skills and can demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and investment products (including mutual funds, hedge funds and alternatives)
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Be able to manage high volumes, work under pressure and within tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Professional qualifications such as CFA.
• Knowledge in Morningstar, Bloomberg, and Reuters.
