As an Asset Management Infrastructure & Front Office Specialist in Switzerland, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the infrastructure and front office operations within the asset management function. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front-to-back processes, efficient technology infrastructure, and support for investment decision-making, while also adhering to Swiss regulatory requirements.
YOUR CAPCO DAY
- Oversee and enhance the infrastructure supporting asset management operations, including front office systems, data management, and reporting tools, in accordance with Swiss regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with front office teams, such as portfolio managers and traders, to understand their specific requirements and ensure the availability of necessary tools and technology platforms.
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of investment management systems, trade order management systems (OMS), and other front office tools, ensuring compliance with Swiss financial regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely capture, validation, and reconciliation of investment data across systems, with a strong focus on data privacy and security.
- Collaborate with technology teams to identify and implement process automation and workflow enhancements to increase operational efficiency, while adhering to Swiss data protection laws.
- Support front office activities by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting for systems and tools, taking into consideration Swiss market practices and regulations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements relevant to asset management infrastructure and front office operations within the Swiss market.
- Assist with system upgrades, testing, and user training to ensure smooth adoption of new technology solutions, while considering Swiss regulatory guidelines.
YOUR CAPCO FIT
- Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, ITIL) is a plus.
- Proven experience in asset management, with a focus on infrastructure and front office operations, preferably within the Swiss financial industry.
- Solid understanding of investment management systems, portfolio management system such as Blackrock Aladdin, trade order management systems (OMS), and other front office tools, in compliance with Swiss financial regulations.
- Familiarity with data management and reporting tools used in asset management, considering Swiss data privacy and security requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in accordance with Swiss market practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments and adhere to Swiss regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, while following Swiss financial industry standards.
- Fluency in English and French is a must
