As an Assembly & Test Tech - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in assembling and testing complex electronic and mechanical components to ensure product quality and reliability. Your expertise will contribute directly to manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.
 

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Muncie, IN location on an On-site work schedule.


In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes by performing precise assembly, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.


Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform complex assembly of electronic and mechanical components following detailed technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Conduct functional and quality tests on assembled products to verify performance and compliance with standards.
  • Calibrate and maintain testing and assembly equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly or testing issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Document assembly processes, test results, and any deviations accurately and timely.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace safety guidelines and quality assurance protocols.
     
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 1+ years’ experience in assembly and testing of electronic or mechanical components within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance standards, and safety compliance.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics to ensure correct assembly.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, test instruments, and equipment calibration techniques to maintain product integrity.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during assembly and testing phases effectively.

  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical certification in a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience working in in assembly and testing of electronic or mechanical components within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet tight production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
