As an Assembly & Test Tech - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in assembling and testing components and products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. You will apply your technical skills and attention to detail to support manufacturing processes and contribute to the delivery of reliable solutions.


You will report directly to our Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Muncie, IN location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations by accurately assembling and testing products, identifying issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance overall product reliability.


 

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform assembly of components and subassemblies according to work instructions and quality standards.
  • Conduct testing of products using specified test equipment and procedures to verify functionality and performance.
  • Identify and document defects or issues and communicate findings to engineering or quality teams for resolution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality goals.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE 

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in assembly and testing processes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting work instructions, schematics, and test procedures.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment and hand tools relevant to assembly and testing tasks.
  • Ability to identify defects and troubleshoot basic issues during assembly and testing.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and quality control practices in manufacturing.

  • 1+ years of experience in assembly and testing processes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in electronics or mechanical assembly and testing roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and test documentation.
