Position Summary
Coordinates and directs daily the activities of the assigned production team to maximize productivity while maintaining quality. Ensures all safety procedures are followed and metrics met. Follows training and safety requirements and trains Assemblers to use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Keeps daily assembly production records.
