About the Role

The role involves managing quality assurance (QA) processes throughout project lifecycles to meet delivery and quality targets. Responsibilities include defining strategies, scheduling activities, ensuring process compliance for reaching Automotive SPICE level 3 on Strategic Business Unit (SBU) level.
Your Team
This position reports to the Director of System Engineering Europe. As an integral member of a global team, the person in this role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Automotive Engineering Excellence, Development Quality and the Process Owners and Experts of our SBU Connectivity Software Domains. These teams work closely together to ensure that process improvement initiatives are strategically aligned, technically sound, and effectively adopted across the organization.
What You Will Do
- Define, tailor, and implement ASPICE-compliant processes for SYS.2 and SYS.3 in alignment with customer and internal requirements.
- Ensure process consistency and quality across engineering teams, supporting ISO 26262, SIO 21434 and internal safety standards.
- Collaborate with other Process Owners, Automotive Engineering Excellence, Development Quality to drive process maturity.
- Support documentation, training, and rollout of process improvements within the SBU Connectivity .
- Actively contribute to internal and external ASPICE assessments and readiness activities.
- Creating and administering process and development documents regarding consistency.
- Train and support Process Owners in HARMAN internal and external assessments.
- Support the regional owner and experts in executing the BMS training as defined.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Automotive Quality Management
- Demonstrable knowledge of the Automotive SPICE process assessment model (PAM)
- Proven expertise in software architecture and in developing complex software systems.
- Demonstrated ownership of software quality programs for safety-critical production products.
- Strong communication skills, able to coach, collaborate, and negotiate across functions.
What is Nice to Have
- Automotive SPICE Provisional Assessor
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2.
- Experience with common standards such as functional safety (ISO 26262), and, if applicable, cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
- Automotive and Infotainment Industry experience.
