What You’ll Accomplish
- Produce high quality, full-custom, mixed-signal integrated circuit layouts
- Contribute to the development of innovative IC designs
- Work across all levels of the design from base cells to chip top-level
- Collaborate closely with designers to understand specific circuit requirements
- Deliver DRC/LVS clean layout within project schedules
- Implement designs on a variety of fabrication processes

- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

- Familiarisation with auto-routing/physical implementation tools
- Experience with layout of high-voltage devices
- Ability to use scripting languages (Python, Perl, SKILL)

A quantum computer harnesses the fundamental forces that govern the physical world. It can efficiently model complex systems in ways that would take the best classical computer millions of years, and so help revolutionise drug design, climate modelling, battery chemistry, and many other vital processes. But to achieve all this, we need to make quantum computers work reliably at scale.
