Supports Asia currency and emerging markets trading through transaction capture, validation, reconciliation, control checks, and issue resolution. The role manages intraday and end-of-day processing, ensures accurate books and records, coordinates with operations, risk, finance, legal, collateral, and technology teams, and contributes to process improvements and strategic initiatives. As a Trading Services Associate within the Asia Currency Emerging Markets Non Linear Middle Office, you will capture and validate trading transactions, perform key reconciliation and control checks, and support timely issue resolution across front-to-back processes. You will work with partners in operations, risk, finance, and technology to help ensure accurate books and records and effective daily processing.


Job Responsibilities

  • Capture all transactions in the Risk Management Systems accurately in a timely manner
  • Complete intraday / end of day processes including completeness and reconciliation checks to ensure capture of new trading activity and general book management has been processed accurately
  • Work closely with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a ‘one team approach’
  • Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basis
  • Clear and concise communication with all support teams to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries
  • Participate and contribute to the various strategic initiatives; keep improving and evolving processes and business architecture
  • Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both a financial and operational perspective

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in trading services, trade support, or an operational/control role
  • Demonstrated understanding of derivatives and hedging products including Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Cross Currency swaps, Forward Rate Agreement (FRA), Foreign Exchange (FX), Zero Coupon and Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Bonds, Futures
  • Knowledge of the front to back operation process, including confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting 
  • Ability to perform the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral, etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain issues and actions to diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage priorities in a time-sensitive environment

  • Demonstrated understanding of Total Return Swap and Loans
  • Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes
