Implements marketing, advertising, promotional and public relations efforts on behalf of the University. Oversees and participates in a wide range of activities from internal and external marketing/market research to web/printed media, to university events.
MAIN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES
- Liaises with external advertising associates ensuring marketing actions are aligned with the organization’s marketing plan
- Organizes events that promote the university’s programs of study (open days, seminars etc)
- Works closely with the in-house graphic designer for the development of printed ads
- Contributes to the development of the university’s marketing strategy
- Coordinates with the digital marketing administrator regarding the university’s web advertising campaigns
- Brainstorms for the development of marketing and promotional strategies that enhance brand awareness
- Participates in marketing and other promotional university activities
- Assisting in the writing or marketing materials (brochures, bulletins etc)
- Gathers, analyses and interprets data on the market – prospective students, parents, alumni and competitors – with the goal of best marketing practices
- Consults and provides support related to marketing to administrative functions and Academic schools
