Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Management:
    • Process and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage procurement activities.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Meeting and Team Administration:
    • Schedule and organize meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
    • Organize and maintain team documentation, ensuring easy access and confidentiality.
  • General Operations Support:
    • Assist with day-to-day operational tasks and ensure timely execution of administrative activities.
    • Act as a point of contact for queries from internal teams and external partners.
    • Contribute to improving administrative workflows and procedures.
    • Support the Day-to-Day Management, alongside the Collation and Regulatory Reporting of Cash Services and Gift Card
    • Support the wider team on BAU and Compliance requirements to ensure the team and partners adhere to Asda policies, audit and compliance processes.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Support cross-departmental initiatives by coordinating tasks and communication.
    • Assist in onboarding new team members and ensuring they have the tools and resources they need.

Qualifications and Skills:

Not all criteria are essential – we’re looking for a strong overall fit.

  • Proven experience in an administrative or operations role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with procurement software or tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with purchase order processing and administrative support.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks.
