Our people are the best part about Demetres and we're looking for the right people to carry the tradition of excellence forward to our brand new ice cream shop: Scooped by Demetres. With this store, we’re focusing exclusively on the craft ice creams we’ve been pioneering for 35+ years.

At Scooped by Demetres, we don't recruit for roles, we recruit for attitude and personality. As an Artisan, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting our guests; explaining our ice cream flavours; and scooping and serving delicious ice cream. There will also be a little food prep/production in the kitchen/cafe.
This is a part-time position, requiring shifts during afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide warm + personable service
- Articulate the craft behind our ice creams smartly each time
- Guide guests towards their (soon-to-be) favourite ice cream flavours
- Scoop and serve a lot of ice cream
Requirements:
- Able to work quickly and efficiently while multitasking
- Able to learn quickly, follow directions, maintain a clean station, and be organized
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to clearly & kindly communicate with guests and colleagues

The company operates multiple locations across the Greater Toronto Area and produces its own high-butterfat ice creams, cakes, and sauces in its dedicated facility, Demetres Manufactory.
