As an Artificial Intelligence Scientist IV, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI at Capital Group and help to establish the GenAI strategy for the Client Group. You can analyze behavioral data, market news, and economic trends to personalize investment outcomes, and develop AI tools that help sales, marketing, and service teams offer relevant solutions to financial advisors. You will design and review AI solutions with a focus on excellence, scalability, employing best practices for data management, model development, and evaluation to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
You will independently drive AI research and innovation with high conviction, collaborating with other scientists and engineers to develop and publish new industry leading ideas, and mentor a talented team of both junior and senior applied scientists, fostering growth and nurturing the next generation of AI leaders.

You have at least 10 years of relevant work experience, including asset management industry experience or as a Researcher in a lab.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $208,245-$354,017
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
