The Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated cybersecurity professional to join our Enterprise Classified Security (ECS) Operations Support Group as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions and Data Governance Lead to serve as the primary focal for AI for our classified information systems and within the larger ECS organization. The AI Solutions & Data Governance Lead role requires deep expertise in AI operational requirements, data governance, and compliance with government regulations. The ideal candidate will drive the development and implementation of AI solutions that meet the unique needs of our programs and classified security operations while ensuring robust data governance and ethical AI practices.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks specific to AI initiatives for classified information systems, ensuring compliance with relevant government policies and security standards aligning with organizational goals and operational needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize AI solutions that address operational challenges within the ECS organization and supported programs
- Monitor emerging AI technologies, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously improve governance and operational strategies
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among technical teams, program managers, and government stakeholders
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation efforts related to AI data privacy, security, and ethical considerations for classified information systems
- Provide expert guidance on AI principles and ensure adherence to government regulations and company policies throughout the AI development lifecycle
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
- Currently hold certification in good standing to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSO, GSLC or CISM)
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAG, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series
- 3+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance, data governance, or related governance / compliance roles
- Experience working with or developing standards and regulations
- Experience developing scalable compliance frameworks
- Experience with AI technologies, operational requirements, and security implications
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior management, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
- Experience communicating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with risk management, privacy, and ethical AI practices
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities
- Experience working in a fast-paced, mission critical environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience designing secure network, cloud, and system architectures in classified settings
- Experience with project management in a leadership capacity
- Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external) and government customers and representatives
- Experience working with government agencies in a compliance capacity

Summary pay range: $150,450 - $233,450
