The Position:

BPD is looking for a talented Art Director with a passion for healthcare and breakthrough creative to join our fast-paced, high-performing Studio team. This role is critical to supporting client success by collaborating closely with our design team to deliver visually compelling work across print and digital channels. This person must be dedicated to helping the company, its teams and its clients Ignite Greatness and bring better health to more people.

The Responsibilities:

Includes, but not limited to the following:

  • Craft integrated creative concepts  and executions that are visually compelling, emotionally resonant, and strategically aligned
  • Design across diverse touchpoints—including brand systems, digital, social content, video, and internal engagement assets
  • Use modular systems and brand frameworks to create flexible, scalable assets that maintain consistency and efficiency across channels
  • Apply brand standards and storytelling principles to ensure high-quality design across all deliverables
  • Use in-house tools and processes to optimize production timelines and ensure creative accuracy
  • Explore and adopt emerging technologies and design tools, to streamline execution and enhance output
  • Bring a mindset of continuous learning, staying curious and current with evolving creative technologies
  • Contribute to a collaborative, fast-moving studio environment that values creative problem solving and executional excellence
  • Review peer assets for brand compliance and technical accuracy as part of internal QC checks
The Essentials:
  • 3+ years of art direction experience (agency experience strongly preferred; healthcare is a plus)
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong design craft, concept development, and multi-channel execution
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or a related creative field preferred
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite—especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (After Effects is a plus)
  • Strong conceptual and visual communication skills across a range of formats
  • Ability to serve a range of clients, manage multiple projects and prioritize work in a deadline-driven setting
  • Clear, confident presentation skills and the ability to be a collaborative team member
  • Experience using AI-assisted design or asset generation tools
  • Ability to prompt effectively for AI-generated visuals and adapt results for brand consistency
  • Curiosity and comfort working with AI-enhanced design tools, and a mindset of continuous learning around evolving creative technologies
