We are looking for a creative and hands-on Art Director with a strong background in advertising and marketing. This role focuses on leading visual projects from concept to final delivery, maintaining high artistic standards, and guiding creative teams to produce impactful marketing materials.
Role is based in Warsaw (Poland), Belgrade (Serbia), Lisbon (Portugal) or Sofia (Bulgaria). Relocation is provided by the company.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the artistic direction of projects and lead assigned designers and artists throughout the full production cycle.
- Support the development of visual materials from early concepts to final assets, ensuring consistency and quality at every stage.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities and adapting timelines when necessary.
- Review creative outputs to ensure visual relevance, brand alignment, and overall effectiveness.
- Maintain quality control standards and proactively identify areas for workflow improvement.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and act as a professional role model within the creative department.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of professional Art Director experience working with creative teams in a studio or agency environment, preferably focused on graphic illustration and visual content.
- Proven experience in advertising and marketing projects, including photo production (portfolio).
- Strong understanding of design production workflows, industry-standard practices, tools, pipelines, and technical budgeting considerations.
- Highly developed aesthetic sense with the ability to guide, mentor, and motivate designers and artists.
- Strong attention to visual detail and overall composition quality.
- Ability to work within deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.
- English knowledge – at least Upper-intermediate level.
